This is after we landed in Salt Lake just hangin out in the plane for a second and Stetson was lovin it... along with his Zwieback toast!
Nifty little backpack contraption I borrowed from the Mills Fam in our ward... Thank you@!
Alright! Too add some essence to my house cleaning post... I did clean just about the WHOLE House before our LOOONG trip to Utah last week. I wanted to make sure that the house would be smelling fresh and looking decent for our arrival home. We flew to SLC on my birthday the 10th and my Dad and his wonderful wife Debby picked us up and brought us to my Mother in Law's in Payson. Which, by the way, my Dad and Mother in Law live in the same little town just south on Provo. It makes visiting a lot easier. On the birthday weekend then(Phils B-day was on the 8th), we were able to hang out with my Dad and Debby most the time, because my Dad was actually home and not out trucking.
Just a little advertisment for Southwest.. j/k
So Saturday night we went Bowling with everyone! Phil's Mom and Step Dad, Phil's brother Ryan (who just happened to be home from Trucking also) with his 2 kids and of course Stetson and my Dad and Step-Mom! It was so much fun. The FIRST game I really didn't care about my bowling stance or technique so I scored like a whopping 60 something.. if that. Phil won everyone in both games! So my Second game I tried a lot harder and was SO disappointed when I still didn't break 100.. I got 98. But I like to blame it on the fact that Phil bowled on of my turns while I was in the bathroom. I wasn't happy. (sometimes I'm can be a poor sport.) But, you know he probably knocked more down than I would have had they waited for me. It was just the whole idea that all of my turns weren't ALL Mine! He got 9 down for me, in case any of you were wondering. And I did get at least one strike and a couple spares that game... I was pretty proud of myself even thought I didn't get 100!

At the Bowling Alley...
Frys and Fry Sauce.. a must have
Stetson loves playing with Uncle Ryan
Look at my Hott TAN hubby! Then Pale white me : (
The following Monday, we went to Provo with my Parents and just enjoyed being in the cooler weather and seeing a lot more GREEN and mountains! They took us to lunch in Heber where they have a fast food place with a toy train track going around the whole place. I think it's called the Heber Creeper. Now that I think of it, I didn't any pictures of the train! But my Dad wanted to stop on the side of the road on the way home, so we got some good scenery pictures out of that!

Phil's mom was having to haul out 2- 5 gallon buckets of water everyday from under her sink because the pipes that drained the water were completely rotted out and leaking. So she had been living this way for a good while. But Phil decided to put an end to that! He and with a little help from his step-Dad they were able to fix it in one day! Hooray! Indoor plumbing is back again! And that is only one of the many things Phil did to help his mom around the house. He also chopped down 3 ugly and annoying juniper trees in the back yard and hauled them to the dump. He then finished the cute little wood fence she has in her front yard... what a great son. Then the rest of the time we pretty much sat around and watched T.V. But we did make quite a few trips into Provo for home depot. We actually went to the mall one day so I could go shopping! Phil said I could get some new clothes for my birthday... so I did just that! I got 2 pairs of pants at Gap and got like 5 downeast basics shirts... Yay for Utah and the Downeast Kiosk in the Mall!

Stetson decided to take a ride on Papa's Harley after church!
