Dirt, Dirt, Oh Wonderful Dirt!

Phil took Stetson out with the Scouts on their campout just for a couple hours last night. Talk about DIRTY! He is just too cute in dirt!

Oooohh Fire!

My FAVORITE Pic!

Stetson was trying to play with Bo... as you can see, with our $1 Target frisbee!

HOORAY! We finally got a trampoline like everyone else around these parts! (Our neighbors and cousins across the street have one) The metal frame is actually from my childhood, it was hanging out at my Grandma's house in Flagstaff for several years, my Uncle Russ brought it down a couple months ago and now we finally got a NEW pad for it online! Merry Christmas to US... and Stetson! There's Tyler trying it out now! Stetson not too sure of it yet.

Don't worry, Grandma Trish is right behind him.

First Words

On November 5, I started writing down all of Stetson's words. He probably started saying most of them around a year to 14 months:

Ta Tew= Thank You (FIRST REAL WORDS about 9 months)
Similar Sound for Bless You (he really says it after someone sneezes!)

Papple = Apple
BA = Ball
BO = Bo our dog
BO Up! = Bo Shut-up (is this a bad thing?)
Nana = Banana
Nigh nigh = nigh-night
CRACKER!
Muma
Papa
Dada
NA! = No
Ga = Go
Ca = Cup
Get = get it(?)
wha's at? = What that?

I am a proud Mother!

TOMATOES!

My Dad called late one night and said that he was passing through with an EXTRA box of Tomatos straight from the farm/shipper. So, I met him at the exit and brought home some tomatoes. The next morning, Stetson noticed the new addition on our dining table and thought they were apples! He kept saying "Papple, Papplllle!" So I got him in his highchair, handed him one and he took a big ol' BITE! I think he liked squishing it and playing with the texture more than tasting it. Although, later that day, I cut one up for him and he gobbled it right up!

This video may be more entertaining if your a Grandma or Grandpa.... it's kinda boring!

Thankful Thursday!

My visiting teacher writes down a list on the 1st Thursday of every month of things she is Thankful for. I thought that was such a great idea! She used to post her list, but now since it is kind of personal, she is putting on quotes about gratitude. Which is also a great a idea!

So here are of 2 of my favorites that she posted
:

"Let me recommend that periodically you and I offer a prayer in which we only give thanks and express gratitude. Ask for nothing; simply let our souls rejoice and strive to communicate appreciation with all the energy of our hearts."
David A. Bednar, “Pray Always,” Ensign, Nov 2008, 41–44

"That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it, and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you."
Alma 34:38

I will just give a sample of my "Thankful" List... because it's fun!

I am thankful for:

NAP TIME!

Well, that was pretty much my whole list! Now you really get the idea! I hope this inspires you too, as it did me.

HALF WAY! and MORE Halloween

20 Weeks!

I was 20 weeks exactly on Halloween, this was taken the night before, but hey close enough! I can't believe we have only 20 more and HE will be here!?! Where in the heck did the time go?

We went to a Halloween Party for kiddos at Julie's house. Here are all the kids that were there... minus the cute 7 week old pumpkin.

Awh!.... here she is! Next to Issac the Skeleton!

They had put candy on the back of cute pumkin cut-outs and spread them around in the back yard. Stetson kinda figured it out! I was happy!

Friday night Pumpkin carving

Stetson wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin GUTS. We took off his clothes beforehand hoping he would want to dig in, but to no avail. We are such mean parents, cuz we tried spreading the guts on him but of course he cried. Grandma Trish saved him though.

Finish Product! I designed the face... freehand thank you very much!

Halloween!

We had THE best turn-out at the ward TRUNK or TREAT!

And we had the cutest Dino there! He started trick or treating early!

And the Dino sat in his little stroller and ate a hot dog all on his own...

With Grandma and Grandpa's approval of course...

And Dad got to hold the Dino while we went around to the trunks!
