Preston's 6 Month STATS
Stetson's 2 YEAR Stats
Look what I did TODAY!!
We got this OVERly painted and stickered up little 3-Drawer Dresser in the desert near our house where people like to dump their junk. So we picked it up, of course! We always find great things in the desert, thanks to my ambitious hubby!
SO... first there was a lot of Sanding and peeling of paint involved. (Thank to my Mother-in-Law for doing most of the work beforehand!)
BEFORE: (eww... UGLY!)

AFTER: (YAY.... Cute!)
I want to add hardware still, the drawers aren't the easiest to open. I am debating on getting little knobs or just a handle for the middle.I have just discovered Mod Podge recently. I know I am a little slow. My first project ever was the Temple Blocks that I made with the Young Women. So I have been super excited about it cuz it's SO Totally COOL! SO Ij ust "scraped" together scrap book paper that I don't use because I NEVER scrapbook! I learned something though.... after I was just about done. You have to left the mod podge DRY after you glue the paper on before you do the "Sealing" coat. Also, does anyone know out there which Mod Podge is best to use on a project like this? On the Bottom drawer I used the Glossy kind but it didn't say it was for paper, therefore, didn't say it was acid free. So I decided to use the Matte kind that I just happened to have on hand, I bought it randomly one day when I knew nothing about Mod Podge, and on the bottle it said it was for paper and acid free. I sealed it with that too and I ended up sealing it again with the glossy cuz I didn't like it as well. Suggestions anyone? Enlighten me please!!

I just wanted to put the "Motherhood" Video on here so that anyone who is feeling down about their job as a mother can watch it and gain strength from it. It's definitely not easy being a mom. It is HARD work that takes a lot of endurance.
We put on a movie tonight that I had never seen. An oldie, "The Great Out Doors" with John Candy and Dan Akroyd. About half way through, Stetson started getting cranky, and it was past his bedtime anyway. So I took him to his room and got him all ready for bed and then he wanted a drink, so we went downstairs. Then finally he was ready to lay down and go to bed. Now, I could be irritated that I didn't get to see a good 30 minutes of this movie, but I figured that's what comes with being a mom. I was thinking about it and seriously what Mom out there can actually sit through a whole movie (at home) without attending to their little children. Not just with movies, but everything! BUT you know I would rather spend my time with my Precious Little ones instead of meaningless pleasures anytime. They are only young so long and I don't want to miss out on this time at all. I know I get SUPER busy sometimes and think that other things are more important than my kids, but there really isn't. I think that as long as they know that I LOVE them and that I will get to them as soon as possible, that is all they need to know. LOVE is the most powerful teaching tool because it coordinates with CHARITY. If we can just teach our kids to LOVE and to be LOVED the world would be a better place.

CAMP GEROMINO
Phil was a brave soul to take Stetson with him on the Scout Camp this year...
and here are some pictures to prove it!
Phil and the Boys made their own teater-totter, as you can see the first one broke after loading 3 Boys on one side and Stetson on the other.
Learning how to be a man
They EVEN let him HELP in the kitchen, but he had to wear a Hair Net and hat of course.

Just the cutest thing!
What a Great Father's Day Gift for Phil to go camping with Stetson! Although Stetson didn't stay the whole time, one of the other leaders had to come home on Wednesday so he brought him home. Phil's neck and back were getting SUPER sore from carrying him around. Stetson was a definate favorite of all the campers there and they all missed him when he left. Such a Happy Camper!

Misc. Pics
LAST post of the day, I promise!
I will put Prestion on the playmat, and Stetson will go lay next to him for fun!
Last night, Juile came over and told me that I need to start doing tummy time with Preston. I have been spacing that. So this morning I layed him on the very cute quilt Inez made and Stetson once again layed right next to him.....
TWO days in a row Stetson feel FLAT on his face, only the second time happened to be on the cement instead of the grass. So I had snap a picture of his battle wounds. It happened before Easter which is why you see the scrapes in the Easter pictures.
This wasn't taken the day of, hence such a happy face, but he didn't cry for long when it happened either. He's a tough little guy!Easter 2010
Pictures before Pictures
I signed Stetson up to get some pictures done at Sam's Club. (This was before a had the baby... FYI) They do Vintage looking photos. We had to bring Stetson in a plain white shirt and jeans.

The whole picture experience was HILLARIOUS with Stetson. He did not like the photographer or her helper at all! Especially when she tried putting a hat on him, he about picked a fight with her. He kept throwing things and was just not having this whole picture taking thing. Even candy as a bribe wasn't helping. I was actually surprised this picture turned out so well.
